Why do we Collect Your Personal Information?
In order to provide you with advice, quotations, and services, we may need to collect personal information such as your name, address, etc.
If you decline to provide your personal information, MultiSafe Solutions may not be able to:
- Provide the product or service you requested
How do we collect your personal information?
MultiSafe Solutions collects personal information in a number of ways, including:
- Directly from you, when you provide information in your application for information when submitted through MultiSafe Solutions Website;
- Directly from you, when you provide information over the telephone; and
- Directly from you, via email, live chat or the internet.
What personal information do we collect?
To provide the associated services and information to you, we may need to collect personal information about you which can include, but is not limited to:
- Name, address, and date of birth;
- Contact details;
- Employment details;
- Business details: ABN, ACN etc.
- Trading statements
- Information provided in client agreement forms;
- Voluntary information you provide.
Personal information will only be collected in relation to the provision of services and the operation of MSS.
How do we use your personal information?
We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you provide to us remains private and is used only for the purposes of MSS.
Your personal Information is used in order to:
- Assist in Providing services to you;
- Assist in any calls you make to us;
- Communicate relevant information to you; and
- Assist in product development, marketing, planning, administration and credit control procedures
From time to time, we may provide you with direct marketing material. This will include e-mails, articles and newsletters that may be of interest to you. We may also from time to time carry our CRM retargeting. CRM retargeting is a marketing technique which allows us to reach you with online display advertising by using your personal information (specifically, your email address).
Use and disclosure of personal information
The personal information we hold is used for establishing and managing your account, reviewing your ongoing needs, enhancing customer service and products and giving you ongoing information or opportunities that we believe may be relevant to you. We may also use your personal information for business planning purposes including product development and internal research.
We will only disclose personal information to a third party where one or more of the following apply:
- You have given consent (verbal or written)
- It is authorised or required by law, or necessary for enforcement of law
- It will protect the rights, property or personal safety of another person
MSS will disclose your personal information to our other company MultiSkills Training (MST) if pertinent to your needs and only after verbal and/or written approval by you.
Personal information will not be used in any way other than those outlined in this policy, and any other ways that might reasonably be expected.
Access to personal information
It is a policy of MultiSafe Solutions to allow access to personal files at any time to the person to whom those files relate, upon written request.
Clients may access their personal information and files by submitting written request to the Administration department.
Proof of identification will be required to be presented in person.
Storage and security of personal information
MultiSafe Solutions will take all reasonable steps to maintain the privacy and security of personal information.
Information stored electronically is kept on a secure server and access is restricted to authorised employees. This server is regularly backed up and kept in a secure location.
Paper-based documents containing personal information will be stored in a locked filing cabinet and held within a secure area within the MultiSafe Solutions premises.
Reasonable steps will be taken to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required for any purpose.
